It’s Time to #BreaktheBias

This International Women's Day, we celebrate the amazing women who help OneMoreRep thrive and flourish every day. As Michelle Obama once said: "There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish."

Athlete and OMR ambassador Tamara Smith agrees and believes with what Michelle Obama said "Women can achieve anything they like even if it's a male-dominated industry or goal. We are capable and can accomplish so much if we set a goal", adds Tamara.

At OneMoreRep, we acknowledge and celebrate all our achievements so far. We work together to shine a spotlight on activity uplifting and inspiring women to pursue goals without bias or barriers.

Tamara shares her story and how she #BreaktheBias to inspire other women to achieve their goals and accomplishments. "I want to ensure women feel well supported and can come together to help each other in all areas of their life."

At OMR, we want to ensure that women empower future women by promoting a sense of self-worth. We want to celebrate you and your achievements, and we work together to bring a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination.

"I grew a mindset that if I wanted something, I would work out a plan to achieve it in the next six months, and a woman can do whatever she wants to achieve with proper planning and dedication on her own", adds Tamara.

As Rihanna said, "There's something so special about a woman who dominates in a man's world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer."

When Tamara entered the fitness world, it wasn't easy. She worked hard to achieve her own goals to get to where she is today.

"I never had been into a gym or trained until one day I got inspired by my job at the time as a flight attendant to go to the hotel gyms to fill in time. I then became addicted and started training full time and competed in 5 shows in the USA, funding myself with no sponsors to attend every show and making my meals on a budget."

Even today, she still works hard to make sure she stays on track with her goals. As she says:

"To me, that means I can work full time, work as a coach, fitness model, cook and clean, meal prep and also be a pro athlete. I train in the gym daily to achieve my goals and inspire other women to do the same."

Inspiring, supporting and empowering women is a collective effort by everyone. Share your female-focused passion with us to celebrate it and promote it to the world.
